If you have a G&J Platewriter 3000 or 8000 or Newswriter or Newswriter XL, chances are you’ve had problems with it.
Now I don’t know if you’ve had a hard time getting support from the company you bought it from, from the manufacturer, or both…
… but if you are like almost everyone else who has purchased one: you have had head and/or quality problems and you don’t know where to turn.
At DEI Systems, we have sold more Glunz and Jensen Platewriters and Newswriters than anyone else in the country … and we’ve serviced more as well.
In fact, in order to keep our customers satisfied we’ve invested hundreds of hours tearing the machines down and testing them just so we would know what to do to fix them when they broke.
Well, as it turns out, we have developed a calibration procedure that is second to none. It’s far easier to perform and produces better quality than the manufacturer’s calibration recommendations.
Plus, we’ve also found a way to replace the heads, which are the main issue with these machines, that is so much easier and efficient, we can show you how to do it. That means you will never suddenly be stuck with a machine that’s down because of a clogged head. You will be able to simply swap the head out yourself.
Now let’s be honest. The manufacturer has a set of recommendations for servicing the equipment and replacing the head, but it doesn’t produce the quality needed by most printers, and it’s not quick or easy to do.
That’s why, after your head goes bad and you place the call and wait two days for a service technician to arrive, the service guy comes in and spends all of his time on the phone. He’s trying to get hold of someone who can walk him through the troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
He has to call someone because he doesn’t know what he is doing … and unfortunately, it means you aren’t going to get the quality you expect.
Why put yourself through that?
We know how to fix these machines like the back of our hands, and we have an easier, more efficient way of calibrating them and replacing the heads than anyone else. Again, so easy, we can show you how to do it.
Over the past two years we have had many new clients who have bought their machines from other dealers come to us for their support – and to get better pricing on their supplies.
Sure, you can pay other people to bang on them for a couple hours, spending all of their time on the telephone trying to get backup support, then say, “It’s a good as it gets…”. Or you can call us and let us show you how good it can actually be.
Don’t suffer with a machine that produces poor quality plates. Don’t sit by trying to figure out how you are going to keep everything moving because a head has gone bad and you have to wait days for service.
Let us service your machine and show you what we’ve learned. That way, you will have the best calibrations to ensure quality output and you will never be suddenly stuck with a machine that can’t operate due to the heads going bad. You will be able to fix it yourself and be back up and running in about an hour.
